Where is peace in burning with desires

What myriad of emotions and restrictions the heart has to under go from moment to moment and how the mind is tormented here with desires, lusts and cravings! And yet human life is termed as pleasant and desirable! Where is peace in burning with desires every moment that cannot be fulfilled, where is peace in restraining the mind from the world and where is peace in the struggling? No, the human life is overly hyped and cannot be termed as pleasant. A spiritual existence where the heart doesn’t have to under go the multitude of desires and longings and where  the mind always resides in peace and tranquillity is certainly better.
