Endless Possibilities

We live our lives confined within the bars and boundaries of possibilities and impossibilities. We know our hearts are inflicted with sins and malice, we want to change, but our hearts are so inflicted and our ways are so diverted that we think it is impossible for us to change and live a holy life. This thought alone that it is impossible for us to change our ways leads us more astray and gives us the liberty to indulge further in our sinful ways and live a godless life. After all, if we can’t change and damned to be doomed, then why not at least get doomed by indulging more in our sinful ways? This is the trickery of the mind that it plays very well and coming under its influence we carelessly ruin our lives. But my dear friends, the question of possibility is not a question that should be directed towards us, but towards God. For us mere mortals many things are possible while many other things are not possible. But for God impossible is nothing. With Him possibilities are only but endless. So if we feel something is impossible for us to do, but God wants that from us, then why are we not taking God’s help? Remember what Jesus said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible”. If you want to change for good and sincere about it, ask God for help. He will help because He cares about you whether you realise it or not and He loves you whether you love Him back or not. For a sincere heart, the Lord is the source of endless possibilities.
